Q.Do Anti-Wrinkle Treatments Hurt?

With any injection, there will be a sharp scratch as the needle is inserted into the skin. However, the injections used to inject Anti-wrinkle treatment are very small, so pain is often minimal. Where necessary, we can apply high quality local anaesthetic creams to the treatment areas prior to injecting to reduce the sensation of the injection. With Anti-wrinkle injections, there is no needle manipulation under the skin, and each injection lasts only seconds.
Though you may still feel some minor discomfort, every precaution is taken before and during the treatment to minimize this for you. All our clinicians are qualified and experienced with injectables.

  • Your facial structure and expressions
  • Smoking
  • How often you exercise
  • Diet
  • Whether you take good care of your skin; use facials, microdermabrasion or other resurfacing methods
  • Level of sun exposure
